Snow and silver swirlby *Khorogh

One of two requests for

This is the Alicorn Silver Summit, her CM is of a snow covered mountain peak and around her mane and tail snow flakes swirl. She's also got a snow white crown on her head.

[This was fun, though the mane/tails always get a bit challenging on this base, hope it's not showing too much x3 Was interesting trying to create some snow swirl around the mane/tail part as well]

when making a running animated pony like this, how do you animate the mane????

Well the entire thing has 16 frames of movement, and in those 16 frames I use 3 layers for the mane/tail (can vary from base to base) in which I draw a different mane style in each layer, and when properly ordered it makes it look like it's moving. I'm derp at explaining, but it's quite easy actually, it's just draw 3 different manes and then set the right layer in the right frame and there ya go ^^
